The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed about the substantial variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The company stage designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
